Jenny Macindoe
Jenny is a Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) in Oncology and is a registered nurse who has done extra training to become a specialist in cancer nursing care.
She is available to assist with the coordination of care, facilitation of referral to allied health support services, to clarify gaps in information regarding your treatment and care pathway, to liaise with the clinical team and to offer psycho-social support throughout the treatment experience and following completion of treatment.
Jenny is currently undertaking a Master in Advanced Practice Nursing (Oncology) at the University of Melbourne. As part of her degree she will be undertaking a qualitative research project exploring the supportive care needs of women with advanced breast cancer. The information will be gathered via focus groups discussion. Recruitment for this study will commence in the latter half of this year.
