Description of Our Practice

Oncology Clinics Victoria is an association of medical oncologists and clinical haematologists who practice at a number of private hospitals in Victoria. Our aim is to provide compassionate, state-of-the-art care for the cancer patient of today and continued advancements in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure of cancer in the future. We seek to accomplish this through a combination of research, education and clinical practice.

We have expertise in solid tumours and haematological malignancies, including cancers of the breast, lung, male genito-urinary system (prostate, bladder, kidney and testis), female reproductive system (ovary, uterus and cervix), gastrointestinal tract (oesophagus, stomach and bowel), and lymphomas, multiple myeloma and melanoma.

Through a close association with the Peter MacCallum Cancer Institute, we have access to bone marrow transplantation, high-dose chemotherapy protocols, and novel cellular therapies.

Radiation Oncology is provided by Radiation Victoria, the William Buckland Radiotherapy Centre, and the Peter MacCallum Cancer Institute.

Through Cabrini Hospital, we have access to a wide range of specialist cancer surgeons, as well as all major medical specialities.

We participate in a variety of cancer education programs, including multidisciplinary cancer meetings, tumour boards and research conferences both nationally and internationally addressing advances in oncology research and treatment.

The fulfillment of our mission will be measured by the satisfaction of patients, positive outcomes from treatment, the dedication of our staff, and the success of our research and education programs.
